Senior/Staff Software Engineer - 3D World Generation Pipelines

In this role, you will:
- Scale up our procedural world generation pipeline for a quickly growing number of cities
- Integrate generative and reconstruction-based AI into production pipelines
- Collaborate across Zoox to enable new kinds of testing and training in 3D simulation
- Own artist and content pipelines to improve art production quality and throughput
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in relevant domains
- High proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience building art pipelines and extending DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, or Unity
- Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud computing platforms
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D game engines like Unity or Unreal
- Familiarity with AAA game assets and code pipelines
- Experience with Houdini and/or Maya
- Experience with ML engineering
- Experience in computer vision or robotics
- Experience with lidar, radar, or camera simulation
