The Revenue Recognition Accounting Team drives accuracy and transparency around revenue recognition to ensure consistent financial reporting. We're a dynamic group of accounting professionals who continue to strive for professional excellence and career growth while maintaining a culture of work-life balance.

About the Role

As a fast growing and adapting business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Manager that will be excited about joining our transformation journey! The ideal candidate will be a great communicator and self-starter who is willing to challenge the norms and thrives in dynamic environments.

Job Duties include and are not limited to:

  • Review revenue agreements in connection with deal review process to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and Workday revenue policy

  • Manage deal review communications between revenue team and Sales, Deals Management, Sales Operations and Legal during contract negotiations and provide guidance and assistance to ensure proper revenue recognition

  • Provide as-needed technical accounting guidance to business partners and team members as part of deal review process

  • Effectively manage workflow to provide timely feedback and input while keeping management aware of key issues.

  • Partner with order-to-cash cross functional teams (Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Finance, and/or AR) to ensure all fully executed agreements are properly booked and recognized in our systems to ensure accuracy in quarterly metrics

  • Preparation and review of technical accounting positions and supporting data studies

  • Identify opportunities for process transformation and drive automation

  • Collaborate with broader team on completing month-end close activities and accurate reporting of key revenue data

  • Collaborate with Deals Management and Legal to make improvements in the contract management process.

  • Maintain documentation for all business processes and compliance related work.

  • Lead and assist with other special projects as needed; drive projects to successful completion

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years related experience in Revenue / Technical Accounting (compliance with ASC 606)

  • Bachelors degree

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS / Technology industry preferred

  • CPA with Big 4 experience preferred

  • A highly productive self-starter with very strong work ethic

  • Strong accountability and detail oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product

  • Ability to work independently and thrive, and be a team player

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and messaging skills

  • Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment

  • Capable of moving between a variety of roles with ease with working with cross functional teams

  • Understanding of global quote-to-cash business processes and best practices

  • Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, Apttus, and experience using Workday and RPA


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $121,200 USD - $222,000 USD
