In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving risk and compliance requirements while reducing customer friction as part of a broader team effort to help build and launch a new digital wallet for our customers. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and launch enhancements necessary to deliver our core product.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identifying and protecting consumers seamlessly while providing a great user experience with minimum friction in a new innovate digital app

  • Responsible for capturing and integrating all legal, risk, and compliance requirements across the wallet product to create a fully compliant, customer-centric experience

  • Responsible for implementing and refining the identity verification policy (KYC) and processes and tools to fight fraud and ensure security

  • Write user stories and work with design team to translate requirements into product features

  • Coordinate with engineering team to translate risk, compliance, and legal requirements into technology requirements; scope and size the work

  • Partner with technical teams across the organization to coordinate product roadmaps and timelines

  • Coordinate with external partners to provide KYC verification and risk tools

  • Partner with operations teams on risk and compliance processes

  • Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines

Role Requirements

  • Banking or fintech experience

  • Experience with client onboarding, KYC, and risk controls

  • In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance requirements and policies

  • Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across teams

  • Project management experience

  • Agile experience including story writing

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Lexis Nexis experience a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of work experience

The on-target earnings range is $123,400- $184,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
