About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mid-Corporate PM Analyst in Commercial Banking to work in partnership with small deal teams that provides research, analysis, and underwriting to prepare recommendations to extend credit and monitor existing credit relationships. In this role, you will:

  • Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans

  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area

  • Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of credit policy, loan servicing, risk management and group underwriting requirements

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management and complex credit executions related to acquisition financing and bridge underwriting

  • Knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements for leveraged transactions

  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices

  • Knowledge and understanding of debt and equity capital markets

  • Strong credit analysis skills of leveraged credits

  • Experience originating, structuring, and executing bank lending transactions, other credit related products, for critical or complex clients

  • Experience with nCino

  • Advanced experience with MS Excel

Pay Range:

Illinois - Chicago Pay Range $92,400-$164,400 Annually

Minnesota -Minneapolis Pay Range $84,000-$149,400 Annually

Texas - Dallas Pay Range $84,000-$149,400 Annually

Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$84,000.00 - $164,400.00
