We are looking for an incredible Staff, Software Engineer on the Sam's Club SRE team to drive observability, automation, and stability for Sam's Club's Seamless Exit solution. Seamless Exit uses computer vision and AI to eliminate the need to check members' receipts as they exit. What you'll do:
This role will be driving SRE Engineering Excellence and play as SRE Staff, Software Engineer. Someone who can help establish a Golden Path for production applications.
Primary Skills:
• Establish criteria for deploying resilient workloads in the in-club space and evaluate whether apps are meeting those criteria by looking at DX console, k8s dashboards, prom metrics, reading Dockerfiles etc.
• Cloud computing - set of requirements around how many and which regions a service is deployed to, how they are scaled and how they communicate with other services.
• Knowledge on Kubernetes and containers
• Observability engineering
• Incident command
• Solutions architecture
• Security
• CI/CD pipeline automation
• Root cause analysis
You'll sweep us off our feet if:
You are skilled in programming, cloud technologies, and are proficient in the use of automation tools.
You have a knack for troubleshooting, with proven abilities to resolve system issues under high-pressure situations.
You are a team player with great communication skills, able to collaborate effectively while also capable of taking initiative and working independently.
You are committed to staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in site reliability engineering.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
