Job Description
The role requires the ability to work in a complex and diverse, international, and multi-currency environment.
Essential Functions:
- Oversight of Data Maintenance function, focusing on key operational metrics including turnaround time, SLA tracking, and employee productivity
- Management of Data Maintenance team, located in multiple geographies, to enable a consistent approach to queue management, assessing workloads, addressing backlogs, and resolving escalations
- Lead the ongoing, global initiative to enable suppliers on the Ariba Network, including completion of setup tasks, integration into on-boarding functions, and achieving high levels of network adoptions within Visa’s supplier base
- Partner with global peers and finance leaders to constantly enhance and improve key processes, including reduction of SLA times, process automation, and enhancements that are critical to drive efficiency needed to manage rapidly expanding business activity
- Preparation and analysis of global metrics, utilizing data to create process efficiencies, identify bottlenecks, and initiate process improvements
- Act at primary liaison for internal audit and SOX testing and validation
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement in a methodical, pragmatic and expeditious manner including automation of manual processes and controls and standardization of accounting or business processes. Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve Controllership activities
- Drive team performance to “Best in Class” standards by improving employee commitment and identifying single point of accountability
- Develop effective succession planning, strategic resources, and focus on employee career growth
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience managing aspects of the Procure to Pay process, including due diligence tasks and management of large volume of data
• Experience of managing a finance team in a commercial multi-national environment
• Sound experience with managing internal and external audits
• Ability to work well under pressure, across different functional groups and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to think strategically and support business objectives while effectively balancing risk reward trade-offs
• Knowledge of Microsoft office applications, Oracle Financials, Service Now, and SAP product suite of Ariba and Concur
• Knowledge of the payment industry
• Self-directed and motivated
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage issues to resolution
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and tools
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to instigate and support change.
• Able to communicate and build cross-functional relationships work with all levels of personnel and interact with senior and executive management
• Customer focused, driven and can lead by example
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 128,200.00 to 185,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
