What you’ll be doing...

Your mission will be to help us quantify competitive business segments, evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies. Working across the company, you’ll use your analytical expertise to identify trends, issues and opportunities, all with the goal of improving the customer experience and finding ways to make our business even better.

• Performing statistical, data mining, and machine learning analysis on complex business problems.

• Building reporting capabilities for detailed analysis.

• Analyzing historical operations data and market information to predict future outcomes, working at times with large and disparate data sets.

• Identifying areas for improvement, incorporating best-in-class and cutting-edge techniques, and crafting new approaches and methodologies.

• Crafting results presentations for senior management that provide key business insights.

What we’re looking for...

You are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. Crafting reports and spreadsheets is a fun afternoon for you. You pay attention to the details and know how to focus on what really matters. You understand the importance of accuracy in data analytics and reporting. You are a self-starter and a multitasker who can work independently under tight timelines. You want to make an impact by providing the data that will help improve the experience of our customers.

• Mine, analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Three or more years of experience in a data analysis role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charting) and PowerPoint.
• Two or more years of experience with Google’s G-Suite tools.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Teradata or Oracle SQL
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools like Talend
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Qlik or Cognos
• Experience using DML (Data manipulation language) tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
