UBS is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned individual to Program Manage the Build the Bank work focused on Operations Services and processes. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with the Build the Bank Program, understanding and contributing to the design requirements, assessing impacts and risks to the Operations processes supporting Banking activity as well as ensuring Operational readiness ahead of go live.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish necessary working group and governance for Operations
• Work closely with FSI and Servco Operations on requirements, design, impacts and risks
• Attend necessary Build the Bank Program and Digital platform forums representing Operations and the Operating Head CTB function
• Establish required reporting to track progress including updates to Operating Head Management
• Work closely across the Operations teams to support readiness including procedures, training and testing.
• Update business requirements, perform business analysis and assessment and ensure documentation is up to date and validated as required
• Align with Operations teams including payments and service functions on Operating model changes where needed and provide project management support
• Work closely with Operating Head Change team members to agree allocation of responsibilities where applicable and track overall progress

Your team

The Operating Head Change team is responsible for managing change the bank projects that impact Operations. The team sits within the GWM Americas COO function under the Operating Head. We work closely with our Digital Platform partners, Technology, Compliance, Operational Risk, Operations, various risk teams, and Wealth Management Americas business partners to manage impacting projects, drive change and strategy, and ensure we contribute the strategic goals of the function within the broader COO.

Your expertise

• ideally 10+ years of, Operations or Operational type functions, Project Management, Program Management. Banking experience a plus but not necessary
• Experience in leading change initiatives and complex/broad initiative scope
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate progress at a detailed and rolled up level including for management consumption
