We’re looking for an Associate Director, Test Engineer to:

• Set up, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as mobile, desktop, and web, and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Investigate customer problems referred by the technical support team, test bugs, and create and manage bug reports.
• Handle technical communications and understand the customers' systems.
• Work with deployment teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Analyze errors found using logs, Database queries or in code.
• Analyze and disintegrate software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance the overall design.
• Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes.
• Handle the final quality on production release.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Consultant, Test Engineer, Associate Consultant, or related occupation.

• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement
• The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Consultant, Test Engineer, Associate Consultant, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience.

• Position requires experience with the following:
• test data identification and creation
• test management tools such as JIRA and Quality Centre
• automation using various tools such as QTP, TestComplete, Selenium
• automating business acceptance criteria through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using specification
• Java or VBScript programming
• Web Services and REST API testing
• building automation frameworks
• working on various CI tools
• banking and financial markets
• working with globally distributed teams
• test methodologies and their corresponding tools
• recognizing risks and errors in an application
