U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer - Full Stack (multiple openings) in Columbus, OH.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer – Full Stack is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The Software Engineer collaborates with a team and across the organization; responsible for the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience; and be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. Specific duties include: (1) work with Product Manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to break down the SinglePoint Cash Vault requirements and provide ideas/suggestions for pulling items into the sprint to ensure timely delivery; (2) design, develop, test, operate and maintain commercial customers cash vault products, which allow customers to order cash and currency through commercial customer portal called SinglePoint using vendor provided Evas Compu order software; (3) modernize SinglePoint Cash Vault application to provide users the best-in-class user experience using Shield, Corporate Commons, Platform Commons, and Inner Source Components libraries; (4) display functionalities based on the Feature Flag and the entitlements such as Customer/User/Accounts; (5) analyze the requirements and write code/APIs to develop the feature/functionality using Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, DB2, Swagger, React, Mockito, Jest, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Postman, Soap UI, Eclipse, VS Code, Git Lab etc.; (6) write JUnit test cases for the backend code developed; (7) write DB Scripts using DB2 to perform DDL, DML, Stored Procs, Triggers, Functions, Views etc. to interact with the SinglePoint database; (8) write Karate tests for Integration testing and Playwright test cases for automation; (9) write Jest test cases to test the UI code developed for the SinglePoint Cash Vault application; (10) use GitLab to check in the code changes for the CI/CD Jenkins pipeline to pull the latest code from the Cash Vault source code repository; (11) develop applications utilizing Java 8, Microservices, Swagger, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security as well as designing and building RESTFUL web services; (12) utilize Postman to validate the APIs in multiple environments and Sonar Cube for source code analysis and to detect the code duplications in files and projects; (13) utilize React components, hooks (use Effect, use State, use Context), states, props, Router, Refs, React Context, Events, Conditional Rendering, Redux concepts to implement the functionalities needed for the project delivery; (14) use Black duck, Fortify and Twist lock scans for performing vulnerability remediation and Kibana to check logs for multiple environments; and (15) participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinements to define the scope of the work for each sprint by estimating the efforts and analyzing the work needed to deliver each sprint. This position utilizes the following tools and technologies: Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices, Postman, Jenkins, Eclipse, VS Code, Git Lab, Kibana, Splunk, JIRA, Docker Desktop, Kubernetes, Swagger, and Microservices Architecture.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience as a Java Developer.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 36 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing applications utilizing Java 8, Microservices, Swagger, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security as well as designing and building RESTFUL web services; (2) utilizing Postman to validate the APIs in multiple environments and Sonar Cube for source code analysis and to detect the code duplications in files and projects; (3) utilizing React components, hooks (use Effect, use State, use Context), states, props, Router, Refs, React Context, Events, Conditional Rendering, Redux concepts to implement the functionalities needed for the project delivery; (4) using Black duck, Fortify and Twist lock scans for performing vulnerability remediation and Kibana to check logs for multiple environments; (5) participating in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinements to define the scope of the work for each sprint by estimating the efforts and analyzing the work needed to deliver each sprint; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Java8, Spring Boot, Microservices, Postman, Jenkins, Eclipse, VS Code, Git Lab, Kibana, Splunk, JIRA, Docker Desktop, Kubernetes, Swagger, and Microservices Architecture.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $138,590 - $ 140,100.(#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
