Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – Digital Channel Development (multiple openings) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer – Digital Channel Development will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. Essential responsibilities include: responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront; takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards; conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures; accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards; embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation; contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement; reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; and anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation. Furthermore, the Software Engineer – Digital Channel Development utilizes Adobe Experience Manager and AEM architecture; Adobe Analytics; Java concepts and patterns; web development technologies; developing templates and custom components; customizes workflows and integration with other enterprise systems; developing AEM content packages; Agile software development; designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; and consistently writing production-ready and testable code.

Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Science and Information Technology plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Science and Information Technology plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have 2 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); AEM setup; AEM servers; AEM integration; developing AEM custom components and templates; Adobe Analytics; Java; J2EE; Sling; Maven; HTML; web services; HTL (Sightly); JS coding; JIRA; Servlets; and Agile. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $135,200.00 - $150,500.00
