Lead a team or teams responsible for the Operations and Support of technology solutions that meet business needs and satisfy risk and operational requirements of the Tech organization.
Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, associated risk. Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be a hands-on team lead for the operations, support and deployment of significant API/integration services in accordance with specified technical requirements, schedules. Participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's most complex solutions. Provide integration support using Mule APIs Support the runtime, validate services are up & operational Monitor the platform Understand the end to end application flow outside of Mule to drive problem resolution for the consuming applications. Development includes but is not limited to customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions, or use tools pertinent to the area, project, or system to configure or generate a solution. Ensure adherence to company and industry standards. Provides technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations. Write and run unit tests. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices. Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise. Does not have management responsibilities. This position serves as the technical expert on the team and is often the strongest engineer, answering and solving the most complex, unusual issues, but does not have the skills nor the interest in management. Therefore, in the technical industry and many companies, this position is often aligned at the same level as an entry level manager. This creates a career path for an individual contributor to remain as an individual contributor and does not have to seek a management role for promotion/pay. In an Agile environment: Act as an Agile champion. Responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks working directly, and consulting with, the business from the beginning of the design work. Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding effectiveness of the design. Actively participate in refining user stories. Responsible for development and developing unit testing and supporting integration and functional testing. Responsible for providing warranty support and providing knowledge transfer to production support. Develop code in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and eight to twelve years of experience as a developer or equivalent education and related training or experience

2. Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge

3. Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes 4. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices

5. Ability to lead complex projects

6. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in MuleSoft on CloudHib and RTF platforms

2. Banking or financial services experience

3. Experience in Production support functions - Incident fix, Problem Tickets, Change Support, Deployment / Implementation support, Incident triaging, monitoring alerts and logs. Good knowledge in RDBMS and SSL certificates

4. Experience working with Dynatrace, Anypoint and Splunk tools Nice to have experience working in SNOW (Service Now)

4. Professional experience building apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level

5. Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks

6. Strong understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures

7. Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies

8. Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)

9. Experience with messaging systems (i.e., MQ and JMS)

10. Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins
