We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Global Supply Manager to support our development and contract manufacturing partners in the sourcing of Electronics CapEx equipment. This role reports to our Supply Chain Manager and in parallel be an active sourcing resource supporting our various Engineering groups at Tesla.
- Build technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, technology landscape and supply base for PCBA CapEx equipment
- Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated
- Develop and issue complete RFQ packages to potential suppliers
- Validate, analyze, and make sourcing recommendations based on equipment technical specifications for PCBA
- Fully support aggressive program and project timelines
- Experience with contract framework to mitigate any risk
- Support organizational cost management objectives by identifying
- Negotiate cost changes related to product design changes on current manufacturing lines
- Identify, assess and qualify suppliers and drive continuous quality and delivery improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience preferably for Capital equipment or manufacturing turnkey projects
- Understanding of contract fundamentals and implications for CapEx projects
- Experience developing “should-cost” or parametric models for Capital Equipment
- Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solving
- Highly skilled in first principles thinking
- Experience in contract terms negotiation
- Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding cost reduction

$101,280 - $232,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
