What to Expect

As a Software Integration Engineer within our Infotainment Software Platforms team, you will work directly with open and closed source AI models to power new customer facing features, such as speech recognition, language interactions, and features based on vision models.

You'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing features that leverage the power of AI, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms and backend systems. You will leverage open-source technologies to ship compelling features directly impacting our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass software development, integration, optimization, and collaboration across multiple functions to achieve our goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Write, debug, and maintain robust C/C++ software for our Infotainment and backend systems
  • Integrate AI models on embedded hardware and backend systems to power new features
  • Develop and iterate on new features through simulation, validation, and fleet data analysis
  • Evaluate and train new models for use in production
  • Provide performance data and constructive feedback to Hardware Design and Manufacturing teams to continuously improve processes and system capabilities
What You’ll Bring
  • Practical experience programming in C/C++ software, including modern C/C++ (C++14/17/20), multithreading, and Python
  • Experience with embedded systems software design concepts
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning, Speech Models, Language Models and related software concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing software on a Linux host, with experience in embedded Linux targets (cross-compilation, etc.), preferred
  • Experience with Cuda/OpenCL, preferred

    Expected Compensation

    $120,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
