What to Expect

You will join a small, expert team building the internal applications for the tax and accounting teams which cover our vehicle, energy, and solar businesses. You will contribute to building scalable and high performing applications which will help Tesla finance team track and achieve the company's financial goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building world-class software and a track record of success creating scalable software systems. You will need strong quality assurance engineering skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and experience accepting and giving meaningful feedback on technical designs and pull requests.

What You’ll Do
  • Test and automate for 3rd parties and in-house accounting system applications based out of C# .net
  • Complete validation for releases and continued testing support during the sprint cycles
  • In depth knowledge in testing methodologies including Manual, Automated, Performance, Security System testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Black-box Testing, or White-box testing
What You’ll Bring
  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar frameworks
  • Programming Languages: Familiarity with languages such JavaScript and C# for writing automated tests
  • Version Control: Experience with tools like Git to manage and track changes in code
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI to automate testing processes
  • Bug Tracking and Test Management Tools: Knowledge of tools like JIRA for managing defects and test cases
  • Database/SQL Skills: Ability to write SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing
  • UI Validations and Angular tools
  • Performance screening and bench mark new features
  • Interface testing API calls, postman, C# class libraries
  • Familiarity with financial/treasury/tax systems and processes

    Expected Compensation

    $96,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
