We are looking for a highly motivated Application Integration Engineer to join the Factory Software team.
A technical critical thinker and problem solver to join our team to works and collaborate with smart individuals to solve complex problems, implement solution and sustain multiple systems in a face pace environment. This is not a Software Developer Engineer focused role, experience, SDLC and product design and dev principles is preferred.
- Drive engineering initiatives cross functionally with product and customers
- Partnering with the program sponsor, architects, tech leads and engineers, business leads and dependent system stakeholders to ensure projects are implemented and integrated successfully
- Continuously identify, design, and deploy integration optimizations focusing on decreased cost and down time, better user experience, increased reliability, and ability to scale
- Manage executive expectations and owning escalation, communication on critical strategic projects for the company
- Root cause analyze with cross functional teams and provide clear, concise, data/log-backed context on issues as well as immediate corrective action and/ or planned preventative action to mitigate future negative impact
- Ensure timely completion of technical and business artifacts
- Maximize productivity in a constantly changing environment of shifting priorities
- Influence without reporting structure
- Operate with autonomy
- Resolve conflict productively across teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles and first-principals thinking
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organizational as well as written and verbal communication skills to drive projects across multiple programs and manage stakeholder expectations
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing requirements quickly
- Ability to build strong, sustainable relationships with diverse internal and external partners at all levels
- Efficient knowledge of SQL, go and python is a big plus
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends and after business hours
- Splunk knowledge is a plus
