What to Expect

This global business project management role focuses on streamlining business processes pertaining to the Sales and Operations for Commercial Powerwall Program. As part of the Business Operations team, the candidate will work closely with global stakeholders of Commercial Sales, Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, Fulfillment, Logistics to document, quantify, and solution support of the Channel Powerwall business. The candidate will work with IT development teams to develop automated solutions and systems solving for business requirements. An ideal candidate is passionate about problem solving, and will drive key systems and operational process improvements, increasing operational excellence and improving the customer experience.

Must be able to work out of Palo Alto, CA office with frequent travel to Fremont, CA.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a conduit between the sales and development team, identifying issues and finding long term solutions. Work with both sales and operations stakeholders to manage the daily rhythm of discussions that clarify and resolve requirements during design, development, testing, and release of initiatives
  • Develop deep understanding of business objectives and strategies of Sales and Sales Operations; recommend and prioritize a portfolio of business process automation initiatives. Prioritize multiple projects across all departments and systems in partnership with IT and ensure significant progress is being met per agreed timeline
  • Establish and manage business data flow diagram among several internal business applications, partner with IT to implement the most efficient and streamlined business workflow
  • Establish, implement meaningful cycle-time reduction, staff productivity, and cost-reduction metrics to monitor/validate ongoing business process improvement and translate business process needs into IT requirements. Perform trend analysis and manage executive reports
  • Consolidate process improvement and automation requests from global Sales/Sales Operations/Legal/Finance/Logistics/Accounting stakeholders within Commercial Energy business unit, conduct and generate impact analysis, process mapping, user stories, success metrics, etc. Be responsible for capturing complete and accurate business requirements that enables IT to rapidly complete technical scoping and implement of business process automation
  • Developing acceptance criteria (time, capability), training of users on new processes and systems, be accountable for business adoption of system capabilities, attend SCRUM and field questions from the development team
  • Communicate business updates and process changes impacting the Customer experience in a timely manner, producing informational publication and notices
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of consulting, project management, product management, operational excellence with global, cross functional teams experience managing business application or automation projects that are enterprise-wide and global in nature
  • 2+ years of experience w executive reporting
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Business Operations, Finance, Fulfillment is required
  • Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering Management or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing or improving one or multiple of the following business platforms: Online Retail Platform, Order Management Platform, Customer experience portals
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage change in business priorities

    Expected Compensation

    $80,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
