Job Overview
Assist the VP of Measurement, Insights and Data Partnerships in developing and guiding the advertising measurement and analytical practice. Build the core data deliverables and develop the proof-of-concept analytics products to support and demonstrate value of T-Ads media solutions. You will work closely with the Measurement and Product team.

The T-Ads team is charged with building a new, outstanding ads organization to establish T-Mobile as the premiere platform for advertiser partners, and to drive advertising revenue. The measurement team is responsible for building audience insights and measurement solutions from the ground up, partnering closely with data science, consumer insights, product, and sales to understand core customer needs and develop both foundational and innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own specific measurement verticals (e.g., location partners) and be the SME, including understanding market trends and preferences, identifying which product offerings best fit the TMS strategy, negotiating contracts, and managing the cross-functional aspects of campaigns measured
  • Work with existing partner teams to identify, test, and leverage existing complementary and contributory data, data science, and platform capabilities to aid in product and platform development
  • Collaborate with sales teams in defining strategic partnerships in advertising measurement, define use cases and KPIs important to successful campaign measurement.
  • Build partnership strategies and priorities to align with market trends and client priorities
  • Support new partnership launches including market positioning, packaging, price tiering, target customer identification, and ongoing customer feedback

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree Business, Communications, Technology field (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years advertising technology and digital marketing expertise working with big data at scale (1P, user-level) with popular frameworks (Spark) and enterprise data platforms (Databricks and Snowflake)
  • 5+ Years programming experience with Python to support non SQL application needs (automation, front-end UI).
  • 4-7 years Experience managing and leading employees

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive background and strong technical expertise working with big data at scale (1P, user-level) with popular frameworks (Spark) and enterprise data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Some general programming experience with Python to support non-SQL application needs (automation, front-end UI).
  • Knowledge of essential cloud tools to support data initiatives (AWS - S3, EC2, EMR etc)
  • Deep SQL experience to work with complex data structures
  • Data analysis and visualization software: Proficiency with one ore more BI tools such as Domo, Looker, Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx
  • Programmatic ad buying: SME in the programmatic advertising ecosystem (Required)
  • Database query tools and languages: Proficiency with PostgreSQL, DBVisualizer, etc. (Preferred)
  • Expert negotiator: Comfortable representing company needs and interests In a negotiation to support the best possible outcomes (Preferred)
  • Data transfer and storage: Knowledge of data warehousing components including central DB options, ETL tools, metadata, and accessing (Preferred)
  • Industry knowledge: Knowledge of mobile, digital and connected TV data sets and ecosystems, as well as media buying/planning (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $142,800 - $257,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
