As an Associate Product Manager on the Partner Products and Experience team, you are accountable, responsible, and have ownership of T-Mobile's internal and external products, platforms, services, experiences crafted to achieve the specific business purpose or business results. At a high level this means identifying the intersection of customer problems/unmet needs (an opportunity), technical feasibility, business goals, securing funding, and leading a cross-functional team as well as key stakeholders to deliver against the opportunity.

An Associate Product Manager is a versatile person demonstrating deep customer compassion, critical thinking, commercial, analytical, and leadership prowess to successfully deliver fabulous and differentiated products that drive growth and positively impact customers lives.

No day is the same for the Associate Product Manager. Daily activities and responsibilities include conducting market research; generating product requirements; determining specifications; influencing long-term strategy of the product and road map; helping drive and support technical delivery end to end; defining scope for releases/product increments; partnering with development, project/program management, marketing, and other key team members to define release schedule; and support/drive go to-market activities as needed.

This role is located in our Bellevue Headquarters and offers three days a week of in person collaboration!

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and analysis to help build and lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Develops and maintains current understanding of customer experience and identifies areas of opportunity and advocates for solutions.
  • Conducts competitive product analysis and understands current tech trends.
  • Assists with product presentations and provides ad hoc information to management by creating special reports and analysis on request.
  • Helps generate and maintain dashboards and reports that track product health and success metrics.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating product backlog and priorities with partners.
  • Scopes and prioritizes activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Supports sales and marketing with the vital product knowledge.
  • Writes feature and user stories to assemble requirements and translate product / platform strategy into consumable work for Dev teams.
  • Responsible for operational support processes and launch readiness.
  • Collaborates and develops positive working relationships with many teams, including sales, commercial accounting, marketing, legal, go-to-market, and finance. Works with outside partners and other third parties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with Leadership effectively and efficiently, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
  • Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools.
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences.
  • Enhanced ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions. Knowledge in software with Agile Scrum methodologies

Work Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment.
  • Product Management experience with consumer-facing revenue-generating products is highly desirable.

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Base Pay Range: $74,700 - $134,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 10%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
