Job Overview
Are you ready to join the Un-carrier movement?
Leads the build out, development, and management of a team of developers, applying Big Data, Analytics and AI development to drive T-mobile's network evolution. They rapidly deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They build short and long term technical strategy in partnership with internal technology and product partners and work very closely with IT partner teams working on multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software engineers on Big Data, Analytics and AI development. Be able to collaborate and drive consensus in terms of technical decisions. Be able to lead vendors and hold them accountable for delivery.
  • Effectively manages team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. They supervise and measure work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
  • Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines (e.g., team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance).
  • Manages technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
  • Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or in a computer programming related field. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Experience in Software Engineering, preferably in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment. (Required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Network Engineering
  • Less than 2 years Experience in managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more. (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytics knowledge using Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau and PowerBI(Required)
  • Azure and Gitlab DevOps development
  • Database development knowledge with SQL Server(Required)
  • Business Intelligence (Required)
  • Hadoop (Preferred)
  • Microsoft SharePoint (Preferred)

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Washington Pay Range: $177,500- $ 240,200

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
