You Are:
You are a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a knack for strategic sourcing and managing relationships with Contract Manufacturers (CM). You excel in a fast-paced environment and thrive on developing strategies that align technology and business requirements. Your background in managing supply chain deliverables and your strong negotiation skills make you a key asset in any organization. You possess a deep understanding of hardware manufacturing operations and are adept at using PDM tools and ERP systems. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and adaptability allow you to meet business needs effectively. You are a proactive problem-solver, capable of influencing design decisions and manufacturing processes to ensure supply chain flexibility and manufacturability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and manage CM sourcing strategy that aligns technology and business requirements with CM capabilities.
- Own and manage overall commercial relationships with CM including supplier performance, capability development, cost, and quality improvements.
- Manage contract negotiations, cost targets, lead time, materials availability, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Negotiate with CMs on pricing models and develop cost reduction roadmaps.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to assess current and future manufacturing service requirements.
- Work closely with Engineering to influence design decisions and manufacturing processes for supply chain flexibility and manufacturability.
- Implement component sourcing strategies at CMs in collaboration with the Strategic Commodity team.
- Continually identify and implement new opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
- Monitor current supply chain market conditions to identify challenges and develop continuity plans.
- Advise management on global supply chain challenges, risks, and pricing trends that could impact the business.

- Ensure the availability of materials for New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives leading to significant savings for the company.
- Mitigate supply chain risks to maintain continuity and stability in operations.
- Enhance supplier performance and develop their capabilities to meet business needs.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration to optimize manufacturing services.
- Provide strategic advice to management on supply chain trends and challenges.
What You’ll Need:
- BA degree or BS degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing CM and its supply chain deliverables.
- Knowledge of outsource manufacturing service models.
- Experience in hardware manufacturing operations disciplines.
- Proven CM management experience and capability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with PDM tools (Arena or Agile) and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, process-savvy, and adaptable to business needs.

The team works closely with Engineering, Strategic Commodity, and other cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain flexibility and manufacturability.
