Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Interviewing Operations Team supports Stripe’s Recruiting Team through the implementation of various projects and programs designed to streamline our interviewing processes and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading high-priority projects to optimize interviewing productivity, enabling the adoption of intelligent Recruiting tools, creating solutions for reliable hiring at scale, and guiding change management. We are looking for a talented program manager to join our Interviewing Programs team.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for at least one interviewing operations program, such as Interviewer Training, Structured Hiring, Candidate Experience, etc. As DRI:
  • Own the program’s annual goals (tracking, reporting, program-managing)
  • Provide enablement to any users of the program: recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, etc.
  • Maintain any knowledge articles about the program to ensure accuracy
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements as we scale across recruiting programs and processes to keep them as effective and efficient as possible
  • Develop calibration and assessment rubrics, training guides, and educational content for all program participants

  • Run a handful of key initiatives that are essential to the operational success of both the Recruiting Team and the Interviewing Operations Team, including, but not limited to:

  • Develop and lead interviewing-focused projects to support our hiring teams

  • Lead cross-functional projects by facilitating communication, coordination, planning and execution across the recruiting team and partners

  • Leverage data to define program success metrics and inform strategic decisions

  • Drive a positive candidate experience

  • Proactively share data-centric updates with stakeholders to maintain aligned decision making and build trusted partnerships

  • Lead change management efforts across our recruiting teams and partners

  • Contribute to other business-critical Recruiting initiatives as needed

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • Comfortable navigating recruiting tools; you are curious to explore innovative tools in the space
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, AppScript, and complex data manipulation
  • Experience with program management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • A passion for creatively scaling programs beyond what they’ve done before
  • Strong initiative, autonomy, critical thinking skills, and an eye for the details
  • Proven ability to develop a strong vision, translate it into actionable plans, and drive execution and results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A data-driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of trends and using insights to improve your work and environment
  • Adaptability and a growth mindset; you can shift tasks and priorities with circumstances change

Preferred qualifications

  • * Functional experience in the recruiting context
    • Ability and willingness to attend to work matters outside normal business hours on an as-needed basis (this role supports a global team, so flexibility to adjust your working schedule to connect with counterparts in different time zones is preferable)
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
