customer-centric approaches to guide and expand our exceptional software
engineering team. A leader adept at translating business problems and
requirements into concise, actionable tasks for technical teams, with a focus on
tenacious prioritization, market insight, and empowering decision-making. Must
be agile-savvy, resilient, and influential, deeply versed in epics, stories, and
lean principles.
Team Members: This SWAT team of Full Stack Developers helps provide Splunk
customers immediate value by building proof solutions, workflows, and
integrations. An opportunity to lead and work with highly talented and
sought-after technical individuals.
As the Leader for the core FDSE function, you will partner with solution engineering, product and software engineering, partners, go-to-market, customer success to delight our customers with the value they get from our solutions. You will lead the EMEA FDSE Team and closely collaborate with your peers in APAC and AMER regions to coordinate the core service delivery and other FDSE projects across the global team.
Responsibilities:
* You will diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent your team from
delivering fast-paced MLP (minimum lovable product) to the end-users and
product owners.
* Encourage the team by contextualizing the work in the greater business
picture.
* You will work with the team to maintain existing solutions, and groom a
roadmap of impactful solutions to expand the Splunk integration ecosystem.
* You will inspire the team to research and use AI-based solutions to improve products and operational excellence of our organization.
* You will serve as a coach, mentor, and technical advisor to cultivate an
atmosphere of innovation and continuous improvement.
* You will recruit, develop, and retain world-class developers for your team.
* Build a culture of inclusion, transparency, continuous learning, growth, and
sharing.
Requirements:
* A proven leader with a growth mindset, experienced in coaching, mentoring,
leading and uplifting technical teams.
* Passion/Grit/Will: You are passionate about new technologies, everything
software and product development best practices and enjoy continuous learning
while demonstrating strong dedication to help uplift and grow others around
you.
* Familiarity with a range of project and service management frameworks
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Cross-functional: Collaborate optimally across functions, including product
management, engineering, and sales, to identify strategic partnerships and
improve Splunk product offerings. Lead team meetings and manage the flow of user stories through the engagement process.
* Focus on the human aspect by understanding user needs and behaviors in
product design and software development.
* Bring a robust technical foundation in backend development, scalable data
storage, distributed computing, and semantic open API design, coupled with a
proven track record as a technical lead or advisor.
* Prior contributions to AI-focused projects will be a plus
* 2+ years of experience leading technical teams
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
practical experience.
