Objective & Purpose
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented and dynamic individual to join our field marketing team as a Field Activation Specialist. Reporting to the Field Activation and Strategic Programs Lead, the Field Activation Specialists will support communications, people programs and projects for the NA CMO and NA Field Marketing leadership team.
What You’ll Do

Support Field Initiatives: Assist the Field Activation and Strategic Programs Lead (FASP) in executing programs and communications that bolster teamwork, a positive culture and strong performance across the NA Field Marketing (NAFM) team

Communication Development: Craft and update internal and external communications, ensuring adherence to SAP brand standards across various formats like email, social media, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

Leadership Communication: Draft and organize communications for the NA CMO and Field Marketing leadership, focusing on leadership vision, enablement, employee recognition, and more.

Social Media Strategy: Support the NA CMO in developing and executing a social media plan, including content creation (social cards, event images, short videos), scheduling, and strategy advice.

Drive People Programs: Lead initiatives that enhance employee experience, team culture, leadership trust, development, and enablement within NAFM.

Liaison Role: Collaborate with Global Field Marketing and Experiences leads for Enablement and Communications, as well as global counterparts, to ensure alignment in NAFM with global programs related to enablement / people programs.

Meeting Coordination: Schedule, communicate, and develop agendas for key meetings such as bi-annual All Employee Meetings, Monthly Team Connect Calls, and enablement calls.

Event Support: Assist in creating and updating communication materials for Tier 1 events like SAP Sapphire, including internal newsletters, SharePoint pages, and customer-facing copy.

Consistency in Communication: Ensure uniform communication to stakeholders, handling pre and post-event communications and sales stakeholder interactions.

Collaboration Tools: Facilitate information consumption and collaboration via Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, update 'playbooks' with best practices, and explore new communication methods to enhance communication effectiveness.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and video editing tools like Camtasia (or similar)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (undergraduate degree lasting 3 – 6 years) in Business, Communications or Similar

Experience: 3 – 5 years in B2B Marketing and/or Communications

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 77,900 - 168,300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
