This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and drive the execution of key Retail and Account team priorities, focusing on Training, advocacy, in-store engagement, and customer events. As a Senior Manager of Retail Operations and Business Planning, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Samsung as a leader in retail by delivering best-in-class front-line support. Reporting directly to the Director of Channel Management, you will be a key member of the Retail Channel Operations team, tasked with enhancing customer experiences, optimizing retail partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across all initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to achieve retail success.

  • Key customer-facing role with direct impact on revenue, both sell-in and sell-out, for the TMUS channels.
  • Conduct weekly business review to identify tactical retail execution opportunities.
  • Drive the end-to-end operational execution for the channel GTM strategies.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the channel at the operations level, training, merch, systems, store layouts, and measurements for success to provide customer insight during strategy development and identify field execution opportunities.
  • Provide strategic channel direction and communication for field sales organization activity, including merchandising, training, and sales enablement.
  • Own field partnerships and communication, including MCS communications, Field surveys, account team priorities, and store visit reporting.
  • Oversee training content development & customization for all supported TMUS channels in partnership with the customer and internal CLS team.
  • Manage Advocacy programs for the TMUS channels, including Executive/ leadership buy-in, customer sell-in, internal alignment and support, program execution, reporting, and field communication.
  • Manage the Elite training strategy within the TMUS channel regarding reporting on a monthly cadence, sell-in on strategic initiatives, and focusing on retention & registration.
  • Manage and operationalize local marketing initiatives, including experiential events, training and enablement opportunities, In-Store and drive-to-retail events (Table Days).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple cross-functional teams, the carrier account team, and the customer.
  • Oversee status of all budget and vendor requests by working with the project manager and internal teams to ensure timely approvals.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in project management and operations for a retail organization. Wireless industry a plus.
  • Strong experience managing complex projects and details & meeting deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience and understanding of the consumer journey, trends, and insights
  • Demonstrated success in working on cross-functional teams with the ability to influence peers and others in order to accomplish the objectives of multiple projects
  • Excellent organizational skills to be effective and efficient. Meticulous attention to detail for production schedules/timelines and accurate communication of relevant information to both internal and agency partners.
  • Ability to make informed recommendations based on a thorough understanding and analysis of organizational and business objectives
  • Customer-focused with the ability to objectively assess opportunities and adjust to changing customer needs.
  • Experience regularly engaging with Leadership Levels
  • Must have experience in developing presentations using a variety of PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentations.
