In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and modernization of Operations data platforms and infrastructure, employing advanced data analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Utilize modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other techniques to collect and analyze large, complex data sets across the entire operations ecosystem.
  • Provide enhanced reporting systems and deliver reliable information in a timely manner.
  • Engage in supply chain budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and the preparation of business reviews and presentations.
  • Manage special projects requiring in-depth analysis of supply chain data.
  • Specialize in using advanced analytical methods to identify trends and insights.
  • Transform raw data into actionable business intelligence using presentation tools such as ThinkCell, Tableau, and Google Workspace.
  • Generate rapid ad hoc reports and maintain datasets for executive decision-makers.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to produce information dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Plan and develop easy data access methods for key stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and appropriateness.
  • Develop methods and systems to analyze unstructured data.
  • Generate insights and solutions for stakeholders and communicate findings effectively.
  • Construct predictive models and algorithms, including the use of emerging technologies.
  • Validate the effectiveness of executive reports and continuously improve our data analysis methodologies.
  • Strong initiative and comfort with ambiguity, ready to lead projects from the ground up without established roles and responsibilities.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:
