Job Description Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Sr. Business Analytics Manager to build and optimize best-in-class business operations with a strong focus on OKR design, KPI reporting, and leadership-level analytics. In this role, you will drive strategic decision-making by developing robust dashboards, actionable insights, and data-driven frameworks that align with organizational goals. Meet the team: This team is part of the CTO’s organization and designing future-forward technologies and experiences to enable global commerce. Platform technologies built by this team will be instrumental in helping drive PayPal’s global reach through best-in-class technology solutions.

Job Description:
We’re looking for a rockstar who is ready to jump head-first into a fast-paced, rapidly growing team. In this role, you will oversee critical areas of our organization, including headcount management, employee engagement, and business rhythms. This role reports into the Chief of Staff for the VP of Engineering and is crucial in ensuring that our operational strategies align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Headcount Management:

  • Manage and track employee headcount across departments.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure that staffing levels align with business needs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for resource allocation based on headcount data.


Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Organize and oversee employee engagement initiatives, events, and surveys.
  • Analyze engagement data to identify areas for improvement and work with the Chief of Staff to create actionable plans.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and employees to ensure open communication and foster a positive work culture.


Business Tracking & Reporting:

  • Oversee the creation, tracking, and alignment of OKRs across the org.
  • Develop and maintain systems to track progress toward organizational goals.
  • Report on OKR progress to leadership and identify areas of risk or opportunity.
  • Collaborate with department leads to ensure that team OKRs are aligned with company-wide objectives.


Business Operations Optimization:

  • Continuously assess business operations for areas of improvement and implement solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing actionable insights to improve business performance.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Monitor the organization’s overall budget to ensure we stay on track.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $82500 to $187990

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
