Job Description

Digital Commerce is building a Strategic Programs team to own and optimize the most critical programs in the Digital space – including Drop Ship, Store Fulfill, and Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPUS). The Program Manager Sr role will own and drive one of these critical initiatives (Store Fulfill or BOPUS) in both banners (N.com and R.com), help shape the strategic and operational roadmap, and deliver the P&L. The role will help identify and align strategies where gaps exist, lead cross-functional teams to execute the vision, and lead measurement and delivery of program goals. The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, results-oriented, communicates effectively, and has a high level of ownership. This position reports to the Director – Strategic Programs within Digital Commerce.

This individual has a unique blend of strategic, analytic, and communication skills that enable them to align stakeholders on a vision and the skills and experience to translate that vision into execution across various areas of the company. The individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, engaging stakeholders at all leadership levels in a productive, positive way and setting the course for the business to help drive growth strategically.

A day in the life…

  • Drive Store Fulfill or BOPUS program forward by creating an analytical framework, gathering data and stakeholder feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Work with cross-functional partners to understand feasibility and needs, size opportunities and costs, and create alignment on program roadmap
  • Operationalize roadmap by translating strategy into operational tactics and targets
  • Work across company to establish cross-functional business rhythms, ways of working, processes, and communication & training plans.
  • Align on Store Fulfill or BOPUS P&L plan and KPI targets with cross-functional partners, monitor progress to plan, and work with partners on actions to course-correct if needed
  • Lead analytics roadmap for the program in partnership with stakeholders and analytics resources
  • Articulate long-term vision and value of initiatives for company and stakeholders in a way that receives buy-on for change, driving the program forward
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Director, VP, and SVP level leaders across the organization to align on strategic vision and drive change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help shape and articulate strategic vision and roadmap prioritization
  • Drive program analysis, business objectives, and measurement approach
  • Lead efforts to operationalize program roadmap by managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment
  • Collaborate with peers and leaders within the company to ensure project outcomes align with priorities
  • Stakeholder alignment and change management
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels of detail, from strategic vision to operational steps, and tailor communication to audiences and situations in a way that is simple, compelling, and drives change
  • Ability to communicate regular program updates to senior level leadership
  • Build familiarity with program data, systems, tools and processes

You Own this If You Have...

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in retail, store operations, supply chain or management consulting with experience in program management or project management
  • Experience with store fulfillment and/or fulfillment operations at an omni-channel retailer is a plus
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and think big picture to solve problems
  • Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions (SQL skills, P&L analysis, experience modeling and forecasting are a plus)
  • Ability to a drive strategic vision and translate that into a multi-year operational roadmap
  • Ability to drive alignment at the VP/SVP level
  • Ability to communicate a long-term vision and value across multiple teams up- and down-pyramid, driving change
  • Ability to develop project plans and manage project execution
  • Ability to work across a wide breadth of topics, focusing in on the things that matter vs getting overwhelmed by less important details
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $103,500 - $175,000 AnnuallyThis position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
