Job Summary
Responsible for running a project/workstream on a day to day basis on behalf of the Program Manager. Prime responsibility is to ensure that the project/workstream produces the required products to quality within the cost and time constraints. Responsible for producing a result that enables the benefits to be realized.
Responsibilities
> Manage the production of the required products
> Direct and motivate the project team
> Plan and monitor the project/workstream
> Produce a Project Charter
> Prepare project/workstream plans and gain agreement with senior management through governance
> Liaise with program management if the project/workstream is part of a wider program
> Manage risk and ensure mitigations actions are in place
> Be responsible for change control
> Prepare reports to reporting governance group (normally a Steering Committee)
> Prepare Lessons Learned documents
> Produce project 'follow on' actions report
> Be responsible for project/workstream administration if no separate PMO/PSO function is present
> Keep senior stakeholders informed of status and progress made
> Ensure that the project team gains inputs and contributions from the relevant specialist teams across the organisation
> Engage and work with Audit and 2nd Line Assurance following reviews, audits, assurance inputs

Requirements for Role
> At least 10 years demonstrable project management experience
Have demonstrable experience of leading change as a Project Manager in a risk, controls, compliance or cyber environment.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
