The Accounting Operations (AO) team is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic process excellence professional to join our process excellence team. This team is focused on supporting the global AO team in driving continuous improvement and optimising business processes, in addition to leading key strategic projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, Operations or related field AND extensive business process experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and developing solutions to enhance processes.
  • Experience in change management with the capability to lead and support the adoption of new technologies and process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Methodologies: Demonstrated expertise in methodologies such as Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile Certification, Business Process Management, Project Management Certification, and/or Change Management Certification.
  • Process and Systems Design: Proven experience in designing new processes, systems, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Outsource Provider Experience: Preferable experience working with outsource providers, managing third-party relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Strong project management and partnering capabilities, with proven ability to influence and collaborate across groups, and lead and facilitate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • As the Accounting Operations Senior Process Excellence Manager, you will drive process excellence across the Global Accounting Operations team, which includes the Record to Report and Statutory and Tax teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring our processes are optimized to deliver maximum value to our stakeholders. Your experience in driving process optimization initiatives will be instrumental in helping the organization achieve its goals.
  • You will build and deploy the core tools and methodologies of continuous improvement to drive the achievement of targeted deliverables.
  • As you lead process improvement and develop business outcomes for complex processes, you will assess process performance. You will facilitate teams in defining improvement goals, leveraging relevant benchmarks to set high standards, and support the implementation of improvements to achieve targeted outcomes.
  • You will facilitate process execution and ensure a clear end-to-end view of expected business outcomes for owned processes. You will manage stakeholder engagement and partnerships by addressing challenges and driving the sustainment of improvements.
  • You will facilitate the process improvement sustainment, including assessing performance data, interpreting analysis, and translating insights into recommendations to support teams' adoption of continuous improvement.
  • You will use data to identify opportunities, communicate results, incorporate process methodologies, and leverage feedback to identify opportunities for future process improvements and work with teams to implement and execute them.
  • You will lead change management using your understanding of the business strategies coupled with continuous improvement. You will guide teams in the end-to-end implementation of improvements for complex processes that span multiple business functions and maintain documentation for flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed.
  • You will engage in continuous learning of Microsoft services, products, infrastructure, operations, and go-to-market.
