Transplant Center
The Manager position in the Transplant Center provides administrative partnership to center leadership, consulting staff and allied health teams. The Manager provides primary partnership to Kidney, Pancreas, Liver Transplant Programs and the medical, surgical, adult/pediatric, living donor MD medical directors for each, as well as for the Division of Transplant Surgery. Role scope is inpatient, outpatient, surgical, medical, and enterprise focused.
This position assures excellence in clinical operations and leads initiatives for process improvement and regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, business development, practice optimization, and strategic innovation – all in alignment with the Bold. Forward. vision. The Manager also oversees outreach, contracting partnerships, and the implementation of programs driven by national transplantation initiatives. The Transplant Center performs over 1000 solid organ and bone marrow transplants per year and operates through a fully multidisciplinary approach. Daily cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration drive the success of this role. The Manager serves on the Transplant Specialty Council Practice Committee and actively participates in enterprise convergence initiatives.
Department of Ophthalmology
The Operations Manager within the Department of Ophthalmology partners with leadership to oversee both the clinical and surgical aspects of the practice, ensuring seamless operations, financial sustainability, and exceptional patient care. This role will be involved in leading multidisciplinary teams, optimizing workflows, enhancing efficiencies, and improving patient satisfaction while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. The practice consists of 27 surgeons/medical specialists, 9 optometrists, 3 orthoptists, and over 80 ophthalmic assistants/photographers along with DOS, PASS, and optical store staff. The clinical practice is located on Mayo 7 and NE Clinic, with the surgical practice at Nassef Tower 3 and Gonda 7. Direct reports include the office manager and ophthalmic assistant supervisor.
Primary Care
The Manager in Primary Care plays a crucial role in shaping the health and well-being of the entire community. By overseeing daily clinic operations, the manager ensures seamless support for employees, dependents, and the community primary care patients. This role will support a wide range of practices including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, Pediatric Medicine, Integrated Behavioral Health, and Community Specialties. The Manager role partners with Neighborhood Clinic, Division/Department, and Primary Care leadership to support transformation, innovation and automaton efforts within primary care. This position requires strong collaboration across various departments and teams along with strong communication skills to support the daily operations in addition to Bold. Forward. In Rochester and Primary Care’s strategic plan.
Office of Access Management
The Operations Manager in the Office of Access Management (OAM) supports scheduling across select Rochester outpatient practices. This role partners closely with OAM and Practice Operations leadership, Enterprise Office of Access Management (EOAM) teams and Center for Digital Health teams to plan, implement and oversee supervision of scheduling operations. The OM is a key resource to support daily scheduling operations, lead strategic projects and implement innovative technology to meet practice and institutional objectives.
Radiation Oncology
The Operations Manager in the Department of Radiation Oncology will have the opportunity to support a dynamic practice that spans all settings (e.g. outpatient, procedural, region and inpatient). Additional opportunities exist in areas of Innovation, Transformation and Data Science. This role partners closely with physician, physicist and allied health leaders to oversee daily operations of the practice. Key aspects of this role will include leading practice transformation initiatives, driving automation and innovation to advance the practice and involvement in large scale capital space and equipment projects. The operations manager will work on developing and implementing strategic initiatives and solutions in collaboration with many stakeholders throughout the department. Administrative responsibilities also include but are not limited to staff and workforce development, process redesign, project and change management, and space and equipment strategies.

Qualifications
Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience required.
Operational experience must include demonstrated competency in leadership, management, operations, finance, communication, and change management methodologies.
