Title and Summary
Manager, Finance Business PartnerOverview:Mastercard’s Technology business unit (Tech) operates the company’s global payments processing infrastructure and development. Tech uses its expertise to make payments safe, simple and smart. The Manager Financial Planning & Analysis joining the Tech Finance Team will provide business unit support that includes financial reporting, planning, and analysis. The ideal candidate is personable, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical while managing multiple priorities and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Role:
• Perform monthly financial analysis - provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against budget or forecast
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them
• Responsible for financial planning and analysis for assigned functional areas including preparation of monthly opportunities & risks, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget
• Partner with business unit division to help achieve financial targets and objectives through thought leadership
• Proactively research and resolve financial inquiries and issues for finance and business unit division
• Prepare financial ad-hoc reporting and analysis demonstrating insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management in order to drive business results
• Support various financial business cases, models, and standard templates ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
• Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency
• Identify non-value added processes within the department and seeks solutions
All About You:
• Financial analysis experience with progressively increasing responsibility; experience in IT Financial Management and/or capital a plus
• Strong background in both accounting and financial analysis
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and deadlines
• Must be comfortable working with ambiguous processes in a fluid environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact communicate and navigate effectively
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with complex, multi-faceted issues
• Team player with proven team player and relationship building skills

O'Fallon, Missouri: $102,000 - $158,000 USD
