Senior Front-end Software Engineer

What will you do:

Senior member of a team of front-end engineers responsible for building ui applications and libraries that deliver delightful checkout experiences.

Who are you

You are a strong communicator and technical mentor who is a relentless team and self improver. You have a deep understanding of the web-ecosystem and how browsers work. You are excited to work closely with your Tech Lead to set your team up for success, take ownership, and lead by example.


- Experience as a senior front-end engineer working with Javascript.
- Strong communication skills and desire to work cross-functionally.
- Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code that is modular, functional and testable.
- Working knowledge of the different frontend architecture patterns and their tradeoffs.
- Ability to contribute to architecture decisions and improve our development practices.
- Passion about quality, automation, and making sure your application is tested at the right level.
- Experience migrating technologies as the web evolves with an eye for common migration issues and whats next.

Nice to have

- Experience with Vue JS UI Framework and writing headless libraries in plain javascript.
- Some experience writing microservices either in node or another non javascript language.
- Experience in an Agile environment and knowledge of the SDLC.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
