To achieve these goals, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Product Marketing Manager to bring vision and go-to-market excellence to our Travel & Airports vertical. In this role, you’ll develop product positioning rooted in customer insights, drive go-to-market campaigns and optimize current features to support user growth, engagement, and retention.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C product marketing, a track record of developing impactful marketing strategies, and a proven ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships. Experience in the travel and hospitality space or experience with a marketplace business are a plus. A deep understanding of our brand’s core values and an ability to navigate a busy airport are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a travel marketing strategy and lead individual go-to-market launches for new travel, airports, and scheduled products, ensuring they reinforce Lyft’s overarching brand and travel narrative
- Be the voice of the customer to influence product development and continually assess our market and strategy to meet customer needs.
- Have a broad understanding of existing research and competitive landscape, identify any gaps, and create actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategy.
- Develop positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation that creates awareness, adoption, engagement, and retention to increase market share and fuel growth
- Design and launch experiments to learn, optimize and drive growth for key business metrics
- Write inspiring creative briefs and shepherd the creative development process from strategy through execution
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Engineering, Comms, Brand, Creative, Science and more to ensure our marketing campaigns deliver against business objectives
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or relevant work experience; MBA preferred
- 7+ years experience in marketing with 5+ years in product marketing
- Experience in applying consumer insights to inform and optimize the product experience
- Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing
- Ability to independently drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
- Very strong written communication skills
- Experience developing strategies to solve ambiguous and complex problems
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Must have bias toward action and ability to identify and simplify problems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, manage expectations and work cross-functionally with both analytical and creative teams

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $143,000-$178,750. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
