The Data Analyst, Lyft Media is primarily responsible for supporting our Media Analytics, Sales, and Ops team to execute on the needs of our growing Media Sales team. This role provides support to our internal Lyft Media Sales & Ops teams by providing insights, building analytical tools and dashboards, and helping to organize our JIRA / ticket management system. The Data Analyst, Lyft Media will also support optimization of current tools, systems implementation and overall process improvements by collaborating with peers, Media Leadership / Account Managers, Data Science, BizOps, Sales, and Product.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, develop, and analyze key business processes and metrics for Lyft Media
  • Perform ad hoc data requests for Sales & Account Managers via SQL and/or Google Sheets
  • Partner with internal cross-functional partners to help improve product quality and client experience
  • Work with Account Management team to ensure client issues are properly identified and resolved
  • Support our Media Ops team with ad hoc dashboards and deep dive analysis as needed
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to support optimization of reporting tools
  • Provide support on optimization projects, process implementation and system integration
  • Support validation and accuracy of Lyft Media data
  • Assist with ad hoc projects & tasks to the support Lyft Media Analytics team
  • Identify current process inefficiencies and develop creative solutions
  • Support analytical rigor across Lyft Media to guide strategic decision making

Experience:

  • Experience working effectively in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities / deadlines
  • 3+ years experience in a data analytics role or equivalent
  • 1-2+ years experience with digital advertising tools and / or systems is preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working in a Sales environment with Sales KPIs and metrics is required
  • Proficiency and advanced SQL knowledge / expertise is required
  • Ability to leverage business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Mode, Jira) to quickly action on requests / projects
  • Experience with Salesforce and data infrastructure is strongly preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; extremely attentive to detail
  • Experience managing analytics support channels is a nice to have, e.g. Slack / JIRA
  • 4 year degree required

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $77,000 - $96,250 Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
