We are currently seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer, Infotainment. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive validation of high Quality, high performance and production ready software for Car control domains in Infotainment
- Ensure quality from low level software to end applications.
- Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
- Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level.
- Design, maintain and execute automated tests, -including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing.
- Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage.
Qualifications
- MS or BS in related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer .
- Experience working in Automotive - Infotainment
- Working knowledge on Android and/or Linux
- Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality Tests.
- Experience working in an agile environments.
- Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
- Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent documentation and organization skills
- Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high-level status updates and know when each is appropriate.
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to prioritize incoming issues in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$127,000—$174,570 USD
