KPMG is currently seeking a Product Manager – Generative AI Application to join our National Audit Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of innovative generative AI solutions to enhance audit efficiency, improve data analysis, and risk assessment; help ensure that solutions deliver tangible business value; leverage generative AI technologies to automate and streamline audit procedures, improve data analysis, and enhance risk assessment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, explore emerging AI capabilities, and oversee the successful implementation of proof of concept
- Ensure alignment between product strategy and implementation, work closely with product owners, portfolio managers, and architects to deliver tangible business value
- Develop business requirements aligned with the product roadmap and strategy; coordinate with audit subject matter experts, the product owner and portfolio owner on requirements alignment; work with development teams to groom user stories based on business requirements and define acceptance criteria for each sprint
- Support the design and implementation of quality control standards for generative AI solutions developed that are in line with KPMG's system of quality control standards for software tools used in the audit; coordinate with the testing teams to ensure quality assurance of the solutions
- Monitor the usage and impact of AI solutions in the audit process, gather user feedback for future research efforts, and stay updated on current and emerging trends in generative AI
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent experience delivering audit engagements in a client-facing capacity (as a Senior Associate or Associate); and/or experience in technology product management in professional services
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
- Experience developing enabling solutions using technologies such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Excel VBA, Python, among others; prior experience with generative AI solutions
- Experience designing and development products and services for the professional services or financial services industry; proficiency working with Jira or other Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; strong quantitative and analytical writing and communication skills coupled with strong critical thinking skills with ability to execute on the details; ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders; capacity to work independently and as part of a team with the ability to communicate across various levels (200TEC)
