Develop and apply complex financial models to analyze and price complex transactions and financial instruments for clients. Perform financial, statistical, and economic analysis on economic, regulatory, and policy issues of significance to a range of clients in the public and private sectors, both domestically and internationally. Develop mathematical and computational models to simulate impact of policy changes or business decisions. Manipulate large data sets to support statistical, economic, financial analyses. Craft rigorous, insightful narratives on the issues under analysis and translate these into informative professional reports and presentations that are accessible to non-specialists and add value for clients. Write technical and nontechnical memoranda and reports based on research and findings from analyses. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.


WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Data management and analysis; Financial analysis and valuation; Statistical analysis; Building and working with economic or mathematical models; Econometric analyses; and Utilizing STATA, SAS, Python, SQL, R, SPSS, Matlab, Fortran or Splus.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 10% is required.
