What You Will Do
Join our Major Projects Group and lead the delivery of high-value fire suppression projects across the UK. As Project Manager, you will oversee all project phases from initial planning to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. This hybrid role, based in Birmingham, will primarily focus on managing major projects, with regular site visits. You will be responsible for cost control, forecasting, health and safety compliance, and effective coordination of resources to meet targets.

How You Will Do It
- Manage projects to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery
- Coordinate site engineers and subcontractors
- Implement and maintain project control procedures
- Plan labor and materials to meet deadlines
- Conduct health and safety and quality audits
- Maximize site productivity and accurate forecasting
- Lead on CDM, RAMS, COSHH, and toolbox talks
- Report budgets and progress to the Contracts Manager
What We Look For
- 10–15 years of experience in the fire industry, with a strong project delivery background
- Proven experience managing large/multiple projects in Fire Suppression and Detection
- Experience with Power Generation/Transmission projects and clients like National Grid, Siemens, EDF
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety site management
- Ability to produce and oversee risk assessments and method statements
- Skilled at stakeholder engagement, both internal and external
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information
