Job Overview
Come join the core of the QuickBooks Online ecosystem as a Senior Product Manager on the QuickBooks Accounting Automation team. Our mission is to automate accounting for over 6 million small businesses around the world, allowing them to spend their time on managing and growing their business, not tedious bookkeeping. We confidently deliver compliant books with a "done for you" accounting solution powered by the Books Agent.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead critical product innovations that will delight small businesses and the accountants who serve them. You will build deep customer empathy for our customers who are looking for a better way to manage their business finances. You will define and deliver AI solutions to get new customers setup and personalize their accounting to fuel our ability to provide a done-for-you experience. Additionally, you will own the experience and the capability for the Chart of Accounts, the backbone of all accounting. Lastly, you will help power the growth of Global Business Solutions Group, by providing modern, intelligent accounting capabilities leveraged by virtually all GBSG teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute impactful product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs
- Survey the state of the industry and technology advances to identify the next wave of accounting innovations relevant to Intuit
- Translate product strategy into an actionable roadmap to deliver measurable outcomes
- Lead a cross-functional team including engineering, design, and product functions to build innovative product experiences that delight customers
- Ruthlessly prioritize your team's backlog and work across teams to drive work in dependent areas
- Partner extensively across business units to define and execute against plans. Drive decision making, role clarity, alignment and escalations as necessary
- Identify key hypotheses which need to be tested and define the appropriate testing methodology, experiments, and success criteria. Align with teams, document the learning plan and execute experiments with speed
- Take a data driven approach in defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plans, progress and success
- Proactively communicate frequently and clearly with other teams, stakeholders, and leaders
Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record in SaaS product management delivering experience that solve core customer needs
- User focused mindset, drawing out deep customer insights, combined with data to fuel product vision and direction
- Ability to uncover customer needs and leverage the latest technologies to create innovative solutions
- Can fluidly operate at multiple levels, from distilling insights and presenting to leadership as well as getting involved at the ground level and sweating the details
- Excited by the prospect of innovating within the core of the QuickBooks ecosystem, where partnering and prioritizing across many stakeholders is the norm
- Experience working in complex environments and comfortable navigating ambiguity with a strong bias for action
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and customer-obsessed work environment
- Skilled at cross functional collaboration; strong at influencing and negotiating
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $153,500 - $208,000, Colorado $129,000 - $174,500, Bay Area California $155,500 - 210,500, Southern California $146,500 - 198,500, Washington $135,500 - $183,000, Washington D.C. $129,000 - $174,500, Massachusetts $135,500 - $183,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
