Job Overview
Intuit is looking for an innovative and hands-on Staff Business Data Analyst to join the Consumer Group Finance team. This person will play a key role in the development and integration of AI technology into key Financial processes like forecasting and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy modern machine learning and AI models in support of financial forecasting accuracy, financial insights, and efficiency gains for core financial processes.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract insights and identify key features that will inform the development of AI models; be involved in the end-to-end pipeline from data collection to model input.
- In partnership with Financial analysts, maintain and refresh models over time, iteratively improve the models, draw conclusions on the impact of your models, and communicate results to peers and leaders.
- Explore new technology shifts to determine how they might connect with the core financial processes.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability by strictly adhering to data stewardship principles and guidelines.
- Manage complex processes and ambiguous situations while collaborating with multiple individuals and teams
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with TurboTax business partners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience in data science
- BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with modern data science tools and programming languages, machine learning techniques and AI applications.
- Efficient in handling large-scale datasets and proficient in using data manipulation tools and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- High degree of organization, individual initiative, intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, and a commitment to driving results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple stakeholders at varying levels
- Ability to effectively communicate, telling stories with data, instilling confidence, educating, and motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $$145k - $165k. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
