Come join Intuit’s DevX team as Sr Development Manager focused on building the next generation Knowledge Manager platform. AI Native experiences are a critical part of Intuit’s strategy to be an AI driven expert platform. This fabric that powers both development environments to app runtime at Intuit is the backbone that enables our product teams to ship remarkable AI powered products. The cutting-edge large scale platform will offer experiences that enable App creators to build and publish new apps with next-gen AI capabilities. On the technology stack, the leader will be overseeing platform development that spans the latest in information representation, Knowledge Graphs, Applied AI and rethinking how they could be seamlessly blended with state of the art contextual data from varied sources. Responsibilities

  • Leading software development by gathering functional / non-functional requirements, driving technical decisions, teaming and capacity planning.
  • Lead design, product development of Knowledge platforms and Applied AI to modern development experiences and AI Native UX.
  • Manage a team of ICs with focus on individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Result oriented mindset with an affinity to produce high quality platforms
  • Define, implement, and automate the continuous deployment of highly available, production workloads with zero downtime, along with operational metrics for monitoring
  • Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring highly talented engineers while demonstrating technical expertise and drive solutions for challenging problems
  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
  • Engage with the open-source community, collaborate with third-party partners and contributors
  • Evangelize the product through blogs, social media, demos and presentations at conferences, and meet-ups

Qualifications

  • MS in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years working as manager leading applied AI / ML products.

  • Experience building large scale platforms using at least three of Python, CNNs / Transformers, LLMs, RAG, Dynamic Knowledge Graphs, Hybrid Search, Information Retrieval, etc

  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Relevant experience designing and developing scalable software
  • Driven, motivated team player with a “Get the Stuff Done” mentality!
  • Possess practical knowledge and appreciation of various aspects of distributed design, including messaging protocols, APIs, caching strategies and autonomous software design practices
  • Have extensive experience with metrics and logging libraries and aggregators, data analysis and visualization tools
  • Passionate about data-driven decision making, as well as automating anything and everything
  • Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audience

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $206,500 - 279,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
