Job Overview

Come join the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) Product TPM team, as a Staff Technical Program. The GBSG Product TPM team’s mission is to accelerate the outcomes for our Quickbooks product-line by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity. In this role, you will lead program management for our Ecosystem Suite team, whose goal is to transform the way we create application experiences across the Intuit ecosystem. We are looking for candidates who have strong program management experience with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results.

Responsibilities

  • Drive technical program management for the GBSG ecosystem growth portfolio, partnering with GBSG Product, Marketing and GTM teams.
  • Orchestrate in-year planning for the portfolio in close partnership with key stakeholders to develop program roadmaps and align with dependent teams.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of one or more programs on the roadmap establishing program operating rhythms, leading cross-functional meetings and fostering collaboration.
  • Execute programs in a manner that is consistent with both Agile principles and the needs of the program.
  • Communicate progress, status, risks, and relevant insights for your programs across organizational boundaries and levels.
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, work well with others when conflicts arise. See opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
  • Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model.
  • Partner with other TPMs to define, socialize and implement organization-wide processes.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Program Management experience, including 6 or more years leading multiple complex technology-focused programs.
  • Self-starter able to track complex and/or large volume of details (technical and program related), manage and coordinate with 10-15 scrum teams, across multiple sites.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for engineers and executive-level audiences. Ability to communicate goals & challenges of programs, relationship to business goals, provide summarized exec views, while also being able to get into the details. Self-awareness of what to share with each audience.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and leverage those relationships to influence across organizational boundaries for delivery of best outcomes.
  • Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent experience.
  • Domain knowledge of operating high availability, high performance, reliable and robust platform architectures.
  • Good understanding of SaaS technologies or demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Kanban, Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $171,500 - 232,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
