We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern as a Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team at Intel!
In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist in the management, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server.
- Collaborate with web and database design teams to support and optimize the EC Design Enablement environment.
- Provide operational support to EC Design Customers by handling incident and service requests.
- Assist in the execution of various global technical projects by supporting system implementation, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends to optimize the support model, and drive process improvements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows Server, MSSQL, MySQL databases, IIS and Apache webhosting, Hyper-V Virtualization, and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Create documentations, including step-by-step guides and diagram flows, to support system operations and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field with 3+ months of knowledge or experience in the areas of cloud computing, DevOps, System Administration, and Software Optimization.
- Must obtain the required degree on or before May 2027.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Keen interest in working in a highly dynamic EC environment ensuring stability, availability and security of Windows Server infrastructure.
- Customer service skills related to providing ticket support.
- System and/or Windows Server Administration experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center tools (SCOM, SCCM, Orchestrator, Virtual Machine Manager, PowerShell.)
Additional Information:
- This application is for a 2025 start date. You must be available to start work during this time frame.
- Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$40,000.00-$108,000.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
