Job description

Infosys is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Skills:

• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply
• Atleast 4 years of experience in Information Technology

• Atleast 4 years of experience in modern data engineering/data warehousing/data lakes technologies on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, Data Bricks etc. Azure experience is preferred over other cloud platforms.
• Atleast 4 years of proven experience with SQL, schema design and dimensional data modelling
• Solid knowledge of data warehouse best practices, development standards and methodologies
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools like ADF, Informatica, Talend etc., and data warehousing technologies like Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Amazon redshift, Snowflake, Google Big Query etc.
• Strong experience with big data tools (Databricks, Spark etc..) and programming skills in PySpark and Spark SQL.

Preferred Skills:

• Event Hub, IOT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Service, Cosmo DB knowledge.
• SAP ECC /S/4 and Hana knowledge.
• Intermediate knowledge on Power BI
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployments, Cloud migration methodologies and processes

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below location will be
San Francisco Min $90,751 to Max $117,976
