Position Summary
The Strategic Partner Manager/ New Business Solution Program Manager will be a key member of the HP ED&M (Ecosystem Development & Monetization) team within Consumer PC GBU and serve as a lead to the content partners across the video platform, app development, FAST/AVOD Channel platform providers, and all internal stakeholders. The candidate will require a keen understanding of the content ecosystem, streaming experience, ad tech, content and monetization analytics and have the ability to build strong relationships across a diverse portfolio of partners and the entertainment platform providers.
This position will focus on building and delivering critical solution/service to help drive customer engagement, data acquisition, maximize monetization, and further grow content engagement within HP Consumer PS GBU. It will require the ability to define, design, implement and launch very innovative consumer solution to the consumer PC customers. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking, demonstrated skills in innovative business development with attention to operational, technical, and analytical details as well as the ability to see the big picture.
The Strategic Partner Manager/ New Business Solution program manager will demonstrate a mastery of verbal and written communication skills, will lead meetings, provide presentations, represent HP ED&M (Ecosystem Development & Monetization) team within Consumer PC GBU to all levels of the organization and manage external relationships with key partners.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Implement strategic partnership management plans focused on operationalizing partnerships to drive partner success, revenue growth, and product adoption within the target market.
Set account strategy and business objectives for each partner; define and track KPIs; take responsibility for mobilizing partners and internal resources to execute and meet goals.
Identify and analyze market trends and partner opportunities to uncover growth tactics.
Partnership Development:
Operationalize, maintain, and grow relationships with key content partners, including studios, creators, media companies, and other relevant stakeholders within organization.
Develop highly effective, deep relationships with key partners and provide day-to-day management of partner relationships with a focus on growth activities.
Collaborate with external and internal teams to create and execute a cohesive growth strategy that leverages partnerships.
Address any partnership-related issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Performance Management:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of content partnerships, utilizing analytics to assess impact and effectiveness.
Develop strategy documents, quarterly business reviews, and executive presentations to communicate partnership success and areas for improvement to stakeholders.
Provides recommendations/consultation to management on areas for departmental or implementation process improvements.
Oversees the delivery of internal projects, typically encompassing very large scale and complex projects, spanning single or multiple regions, presenting a very high level of associated risk.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with content acquisition, legal, product, operations, marketing, and engineering teams to integrate and optimize partnership components across various channels and products.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams to ensure alignment with partnership goals.
Coordinates between product management, who define requirements, and engineering, who are responsible for implementation.
Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
Education and Experience Required
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in project management, partnership management, business development, strategic collaboration, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of the digital video advertising ecosystem.
Understanding of partnership dynamics and the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder interests.
Proficiency in project management and organizational skills to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster effective partnerships.
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop actionable plans.
Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.

The base pay range for this role is $115 850 up to $168 000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
