Honeywell Sensing Solutions is a business unit within Honeywell International Inc. that focuses on the design and development of advanced sensors and sensing technologies for a wide range of applications. As an Electrical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the development of high precision electro-mechanical aerospace sensor technologies and related products within Honeywell Sensing Solutions. In this role, you will impact the performance, reliability, and functionality of our aerospace position sensors and the next generation of associated products. Your expertise in electrical engineering will help us deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced solutions

Key Responsibilities

• As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical engineering expertise and guidance to ensure the successful production and quality of electrical systems and critical components for complex, high precision electro-mechanical aerospace sensors
• Support electro-mechanical device mfg. process development (i.e. Flux Valves, Synchro’s, RVDT’s, LVDT’s).
• Drive technical solutions, idea generation and detailed drawing interpretation.
• Test, troubleshoot and validate electrical systems and components
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices in manufacturing operations
• Maintain and develop work instructions and assembly fixtures.
• Perform failure analysis and Root Cause Corrective Actions

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 4-5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, hardware, and related
  • At the Engineer II level, 2+ years of related experience

WE VALUE

• Strong knowledge of Electrical engineering strategies and best practices
• Experience in the aerospace industry is of value but not required
• Experience with advanced electrical & magnetic engineering theories and methodologies
• Experience with oscilloscopes, Digital Multi Meters and power supplies.
• Software programming and digital signal processing knowledge.
• Capability to apply broad knowledge of one professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices
• Proven track record of successfully assisting the development and manufacturing process of complex electrical components
