Join our team of innovators as we design and develop cutting-edge software solutions for our Next-Generation Anthem Avionics Display Systems As a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will impact the design, architecture and deployment of avionics software solutions by delivering innovative features, implementing functionalities, enhancing the user experience and contributing to the overall advancement of technology.
Key Responsibilities
Using your expertise in software engineering and your passion for innovation, your work will contribute to the development of cutting-edge Avionics technologies that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.
- Enjoy working on next generation and new-product development programs, leveraging your expertise in software development to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions
- Design, develop and test software solutions for Anthem™️ display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.
- Software architecture and coding
- Integration
- Feature Definition
- Verification and Validation

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 6+ years of experience in software development for embedded products, avionics, display technologies, aerospace or related solutions.
WE VALUE
- Understanding various Software Development Life Cycles
- Strong proficiency in programming languages i.e C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc
- Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
- Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
- Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
- Understanding of User Application development.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
