Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems.
  • Experience managing security operations, security personnel, and delivering high-quality, customer-oriented security programs.
  • Global operational experience in multiple countries and cultures.
  • Experience managing remote teams.
  • Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation, and subsequent monitoring.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead multi disciplinary teams in a complex international environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$268,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead regional Google Security Operation Center (GSOC) operations by providing strategic, technical, and operational oversight. Lead GSOC operations during crisis and incident response and coordinate with other parts of Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) and the GSOC ecosystem as required.
  • Be a core leader within the GSOC Regional Leadership team and have the knowledge and capability to respond to any global event in support of other GSOC leaders.
  • Lead a team of diverse employees and extended workforce including shift staff. Analyze, develop, and strengthen GSOC processes and procedures. Guide development and integration across the GSOC ecosystem.
  • Manage GSOC support requests and field requests from stakeholders. Communicate and collaborate effectively with leadership and cross functional colleagues, both inside and outside of GSRS.
