Commerce is the #1 priority for all GoDaddy and growing this through our partners is a critical initiative to help us scale. This isn't your typical sales role. We are looking for those who are experienced in results-driven, entrepreneurial work environments, who are driven to roll up their sleeves to come up with creative solutions, and who are willing to be hands-on to help grow this channel for the Commerce business at GoDaddy. You will help GoDaddy and our partners achieve our mutual targets by selling commerce solutions to millions of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). These partners include ISVs (integrated software vendors) and other companies serving SMB merchants through complementary products. We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Account Development with a track record of driving growth and revenue through partnerships and new business opportunities. This is a full-time salaried position with an opportunity to earn a commission.

What you'll get to do...

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that will drive growth in Commerce
  • Manage the entire sales cycle (including any RFP processes) from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities and consistent achievement of annual targets
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and present creative solutions that address partner-specific challenges and objectives
  • Build a business model and forecast for new deals
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Work closely with delivery teams, project managers, and technical experts to ensure seamless transition from sales to partner onboarding and implementation
  • Participate in annual planning and forecasting
  • Travel to events/conferences to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, consulting, sales, or partner/customer management that included external-facing engagement with customers or partners
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and winning opportunities
  • Ability to create and present slide decks that emphasize your company's value proposition to potential clients
  • Ability to join forces with other large teams outside of your immediate department to create, solve, and delegate complex initiatives

You might also have...

  • Experience in the commerce space or the payments industry is a plus

We've got your back... We offer a range of benefits that may include paid time off, retirement savings (e.g., 401k, pension schemes), incentive eligibility, equity grants, participation in an employee stock purchase plan, and other family-friendly benefits including parental leave. GoDaddy’s benefits vary based on individual role and location and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.

We also embrace our diverse culture and offer a range of Employee Resource Groups (Culture). Have a side hustle? No problem. We love entrepreneurs! Most importantly, come as you are and make your own way.
